WOMEN AND GIRLS

The One La Salle Global Fund will support initiatives aimed at promoting access to education for women and girls, particularly in contexts where they face significant challenges in pursuing their educational journey and realizing their dreams.

Here are some noteworthy examples of how your contribution will make a difference:

In our Lasallian school Kunda Dia Zay in Tumba, Democratic Republic of Congo, your support will provide scholarships for primary school girls, enabling them to continue their education. For adolescent dropouts, your donation will ensure access to vocational training opportunities.

In Colombia, as part of our Fratelli Project Maicao, catering to refugee children from Venezuela, your assistance will empower vulnerable girls and mothers, offering them pathways to a brighter future through empowerment programs and access to job training.

In Italy, your contribution will enhance female employability in the underserved neighborhood of 'Scampia' in Naples.

MINORITIES AND DISPLACED CHILDREN

1 La Salle means leaving no one behind. No child's future should be put on hold due to the ravages of war, migration, or displacement. Your support ensures that children can continue on their journey towards a brighter future, as illustrated by these examples:

Your donation will enable refugee children from Vietnam to attend our Lasallian school in Cambodia, receiving meals and assistance every day.

You will support hundreds of street children in the Ivory Coast, catered in our Foyer Akwaba center. Besides providing them with a safe environment, we ensure their access to school and reconciliation with their families.

You will guarantee access to school, meals, and assistance to hundreds of Central America migrants in Mexico.

VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES AND THE COMMON HOME

Your contribution will significantly improve the lives of vulnerable communities by providing access to vital resources and promoting environmental sustainability. Here are just a few examples of how your donation will positively transform thousands of lives while also caring for our planet:

Your support will facilitate the installation of a clean water plant, benefitting 300 students of our primary and secondary school, San Isidro Labrador, and 3,000 people in the community of Pozo Colorado, providing access to clean water for the first time.

You will empower our school in Baskinta, Lebanon, to enhance the learning environment by installing solar panels for heating and lighting, ensuring a sustainable source of clean energy for its students.

Your generosity will secure access to clean water for underserved youth in South Sudan, where our La Salle School Rumbek will utilize wastewater for agricultural irrigation, promoting sustainable water usage and agricultural practices.

Tax benefits

Due to its location, the La Salle Foundation can provide tax relief only in Italy. If you reside outside of Italy, we can collaborate with you to identify a Lasallian partner in your home country, enabling a tax-deductible donation in support of the global Lasallian mission.
